14 family members? …. and 4 are young children? ….. and a dog? That’s the kind of session that tempts comtemporary photographers to go old school and do formal posed portraits with everyone gazing into the lens and smiling. Real estate and business portrait headshots are the only mini sessions I offer. Jocelyn’s mini session was entirely unintentional. Her escort and ride had to go when we were just warming up, so her session ended very early. Here’s a few from my 1st portrait mini session. Fortunately, Jocelyn does just fine under time pressure.

Now if only more families would skip the pseudo-Rockwellian family photo sessions at Sears (ugh) and go to you instead–we could enjoy a world of AMAZING family portraiture for a change!
