Waterloo Engagement Photography
My friend Robyn was working for an air filtration company and continuing her courses at UW. She was living on a student budget with her soul mate, Todd. Her orientation and training period at the company was coming to an end. She was looking forward to her full wages starting (student budgets are very tight).
When the company suggested dishonest sales practices to encourage bigger purchases, Robyn put on the brakes. Full stop.
….. and she just walked away. No safety net, … no other income to fall back on. …. no idea where the next income would come from to pay the rent. She could do that without any concern about what Todd would say. …. because he would do the same thing.
There are so many small but important things like that about Todd and Robyn that make me proud to have them as my friends. Here is their session at Conestogo River Horseback Adventures
Their session video:
…… and a blast from the past – the video of Robyn’s studio session when we 1st met:
Woa, I went to school with Todd! Small world. Though, maybe you shouldn’t tell him that, as I think he still blames me for wounded, white tie that was never reunited with his owner.
Derek and I can’t wait to have our wedding photos done. The planning is really coming along and I think you’ll have some more unusual/different things to shoot as well.
Beautiful work. Glad to see you’re keeping busy and your talents aren’t going to waste!
Hahahahaha!! Jess, maybe it’s better that Todd doesn’t have a white tie now! Woohoo! …bring on the unusual wedding stuff. I can’t wait either.
Absolutely amazing engagment session with this couple. You have really gotten them in these photographs. Great work, Jay.
These are some GREAT engagement images, Great Job!
Cool idea again, I want to shoot there sometime myself.
These are great shots. Great connection with the couple. I also love the ones with the cute kittens!
These are beautiful….very nice captures.

SenSATIONAL Jay!! These two gentle souls/soul mates look so beautiful in the photos–excellent location choice, too. And, of course, I love the one with the kitten nestled safely between them *s*
Nice images.
The photographs in the hay are really nice.
