All of the families were over for the holidays ….. so …. extended family portraits!
I was thrilled when Deb told me they wanted these out in the snow! These are so much more natural and real than a studio backdrop. I crack a giant grin, knowing that a group of 19! people can be this easy going and up for something non-traditional. That’s how they roll!

You continue to amaze me. How are they ever going to choose. You either compose, shoot and move on quickly or you had a very long day, probably both. I have to ask, did you use any OCF or was it all natural light?

Thanks Chris! … hahaha! I guess you figured out that the sky shouldn’t be blue in that bottom backlit group photo. –> That’s 2 vivitars behind a shoot through umbrella to camera left.
