Waterloo Character Portraits |

I had the pleasure of shooting together with Rene of Rene Skrodzki Photography for these portraits of Elisa Chio. Elisa just finished her math/finance degree at UW. Her sister, Kitty, who’s studying chemical engineering, stepped up to be our stylist and lighting key grip for this session. There is no slouching allowed in this family!

She wanted an urban chic session, with a cute, young, stylish vibe …… and some boyish looks, which also suit her personality. We’ll save the boyish for her studio session, which just wouldn’t be believable in these dresses.

Elisa makes what she is doing fun and enjoyable. …. and that makes it fun and enjoyable for everyone around her.

This dress is an original Elisa Chio design. I love it!!

If you would like to see some more, go visit Rene’s blog He has some fantastic captures of Elisa and Kitty …. and also, it’s a kick-ass new blog! – great content, regular updates – and some inspiration served up on the side.
Here is the session video, featuring Elisa and Kitty:
Do you love that music? That’s our own richly talented local artist, Alysha Brillinger. You can here more from her on her myspace page: http://www.myspace.com/alyshabrillinger
